School Curriculum Campaignmartine_class
In an attempt to bring Animal Rights Aruba closer to our youth, we would like to approach schools to promote animal rights and welfare.

Neuter and Spaying Campaign
ARA's main project is the national Neuter & Spay Campaign. This campaign is effective since 2006, whereby interested pet owners can register at the ARA office in order to neuter or spay their pet at a reduced rate.

You will receive a registration form which you take to Contreras Veterinary Services N.V., Shaba #2  in Noord. After your pet has been sterilized you will pay your contribution to the vet as stated in the tables below.

The Neuter and Spay Campaign is an effort by ARA, sponsored by public and private sector organizations, to contribute to the overpopulation of animals on our island, therefore diminishing the amount of animals roaming our streets or being exterminated.
This campaign has been put on a temporary hold. For the time being the owner is responsible for the total cost at the veterinary.

Adoption Campaign
ARA often has rescued animals that have been nursed back to healthy, adoptable conditions. These will be displayed on the website and in local media for adoption. If the animal hasn’t already been spayed/neutered by ARA, the new owner will be obliged to do this at a specified date. The amount the new owner pays for the adoption goes to cover the cost of this operation.
For details on animals up for adoption, please visit our Adoption section.
